JENGA

I have finally got an art project that is show worthy. I will someday have a website again that I can show all my art on but for now this is it! The final product is wrapped around my recycled cardboard "canvas frame" (I don't really know of a better description so i guess you'll have to see it to believe it.) Finished with signature purple duck tape aroudn the outside.

Before I go on rambling here are the pictures.

Recognition goes to my good friend Drew for playing a great game of Jenga (One of the best in my memory) and for being my model for the project. Some of you know as I was working on this for a little while that there was questions between picture 2 and 3 (Top right / bottom left) being in a "correct" order. Well I have decided that this is the order they will be shown; however it will be horizontal. It still gets the concept of the game so it works. Please enjoy! More to come.

Tribute to Shel

Many of you know who he is. I believe he was a very creative man that brought a lot to this world. His name Shel Silverstein. If you can't tell I am a fan from his "INVITATION" poem on my profile. Here it is I am a fan, not only of his compilation of words but also his childish art! I have recently been taking a copy of "Where The Sidewalk Ends" to my place of employment just to take a peek at during down time. I flip randomly through the pages and read various poems; I found one today that just made me laugh and I wanted to share it with you all. The poem is found below, sorry if it is hard to read. If you click the image it might open bigger.

Hopefully this can give you a laugh like it did for me. If you haven't checked out any of his books i believe that you should, I have a couple I could be willing to lend!

Here is to the NEW YEAR 2009!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday season! I was able to take a week off work, relax, and spend time with my favorite people! Now its back to work and life :( but i will survive!

It has been a while since I have posted so i just wanted to get on here and say Happy New Year to everyone! Also to inform everyone that I will shortly have a new blog that will be by myself and my friend Dougy Fresh or just Doug! We will be trying new restaurants around SLC and giving them our own personal critic so check that out (I will post it when it is ready!) With this new blog hopefully it gets me going more on this one as well!

When I grow up...

Yes I am not fully grown up yet, so when I do grow up your all invited to my bubble pool party! A couple times we have been to my buddy Tyler's (Jason Biggs - American Pie look alike) house in the late night/early morning and we have had a bubble bath party (in swim suits). I enjoy this because it is just fun it creates a little bit of a mess but in my opinion totally worth it. So when I do get around to growing up I am going to have a pool and once in a while will throw bubble pool parties; so come on over and let loose in the bubbles of joy!

Me and bubbles of fun!

Cause I'm Dreamin of Tomorrow

Even though gas prices are rising and the economy is going oh not so well, i still have a dream of freedom. I would love love love to be able to cruise around the country, also the connected countries and partake in random events and activities. And I would love to do it all in a camper such like the one below (anyone have 2500 i can have?!) Imagine driving around stopping where ever you wanted, staying for as long as you want, and doing what you want (inside the law of course *wink, wink*!) Gathering delightful objects along the way, trying new things and activities. I can only imagine the stories that would go along with this, and all the people you could meet a long the way.

Will this always be a dream for me? Will you see me rollin' around in something of the sort in a couple years? Who knows maybe life will surprise me and throw this in there!

This is my dream... well a little part of it!
