JENGA

I have finally got an art project that is show worthy. I will someday have a website again that I can show all my art on but for now this is it! The final product is wrapped around my recycled cardboard "canvas frame" (I don't really know of a better description so i guess you'll have to see it to believe it.) Finished with signature purple duck tape aroudn the outside.

Before I go on rambling here are the pictures.

Recognition goes to my good friend Drew for playing a great game of Jenga (One of the best in my memory) and for being my model for the project. Some of you know as I was working on this for a little while that there was questions between picture 2 and 3 (Top right / bottom left) being in a "correct" order. Well I have decided that this is the order they will be shown; however it will be horizontal. It still gets the concept of the game so it works. Please enjoy! More to come.

Tribute to Shel

Many of you know who he is. I believe he was a very creative man that brought a lot to this world. His name Shel Silverstein. If you can't tell I am a fan from his "INVITATION" poem on my profile. Here it is I am a fan, not only of his compilation of words but also his childish art! I have recently been taking a copy of "Where The Sidewalk Ends" to my place of employment just to take a peek at during down time. I flip randomly through the pages and read various poems; I found one today that just made me laugh and I wanted to share it with you all. The poem is found below, sorry if it is hard to read. If you click the image it might open bigger.

Hopefully this can give you a laugh like it did for me. If you haven't checked out any of his books i believe that you should, I have a couple I could be willing to lend!
